Precision Chico Deck and Fence was founded in 2019 by a group of local builders who had spent years working on homes throughout Butte County and wanted to run a company that did things the right way. The idea was straightforward: a deck and fence company based in Chico that pulls permits without being asked, gives honest estimates, and builds structures that still look good years later.
Chico is a specific place to build. The clay soils shift with the seasons. Summers regularly push past 100 degrees. Fire risk has changed how a lot of homeowners think about materials, especially since 2018. The methods and products that work well in a milder climate need to be rethought for this region, and knowing that comes from doing this work here for years.
From neighborhoods near Bidwell Park to properties on the east side of town, we have worked on homes all across Chico and the surrounding communities - from Paradise and Oroville down to Yuba City and Marysville. Precision Chico Deck and Fence is a state-licensed and fully insured deck builder contractor in California. We pull all required permits under our license - you never have to deal with the Building Division yourself. A licensed contractor is legally responsible for the work, which protects you.
We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance on every project. If anything unexpected happens on the job site, you are covered. Ask to see our current certificate of insurance before any work begins - a legitimate contractor produces it without hesitation.
